Last month I was lucky enough to be on holiday in South Africa. One of the highlights was a visit to Kruger National Park. Normally I do not consider myself to be a wildlife photographer but I defy anybody not to be one if they go on safari. Exciting sightings of Lions, Leopards, Rhino, Elephants etc in thier natural habitat is just wonderful. This set of photos was taken at 5am, just before sunrise. They were taken whilst we were watching a pack of African Wild dogs (unfortunately an endagered species) stalking Impala. The light made these fast moving impala difficult to take and I had to ramp the ISO up to 1600.
Whilst this did produce some noise in the image, just a touch of the noise reduction slider in the Lightroom detail panel sorted the problem.
The Lightroom for Landscape workshop on 25th March is now fully booked. should you wish to go on the waiting list please e-mail me.
