My first venture into running a photobooth at the Demelza Hospice care for children and all went smoothly.
The set up involved my Sony A7ii camera mounted on a tripod with an, off camera, speedlight in a soft box. The camera was tethered to my laptop which also had a 27" screen for live view and a Canon printer attached.
Tethering straight to Lightroom was not an option as there was no live view in Lightroom with my A7ii, however tethering with capture one worked well giving me full screen live view. The laptop was then set up to show a watermarked template in the print module of Lightroom. Using Lightroom auto import it took just 3 seconds from capture to printer.
Once the participants had grabbed their props, they set themselves up on the Live view screen and I used the remote to capture the shot..... Great fun all round.
The Lightroom for Landscape workshop on 25th March is now fully booked. should you wish to go on the waiting list please e-mail me.
