The Software

Whilst our aim might be to get the perfect shot straight out of the camera, this is rarely possible. To make sure you have an image that stands out you will need great software to process your photographs. Adobe Lightroom is a photo management system and first class image processing system in one.Built by photographers for Photographers, Adobe Lightroom delivers a complete workflow solution for the digital photographer.

The training

Most Lightroom training workshops are based in London and are easily accessible for delegates to get to. Many of the courses I run are through the London region of the Royal Photographic Society and because of special arrangements with a number of organisations within London we are able to obtain quality venues at reasonable prices. This helps to keep costs down, even in central London. The workshops are suitable for beginners or existing users who feel they are not utilising all Lightroom's workflow solutions to its best advantage. There will be a maximum of 9 delegates on workshops to ensure a good level of personal attention can be given.

Currently the workshops are held at Whitechapel idea store, situated just 100 metres from Whitechapel underground on the District or Metropolitan Line. The room there is spacious and fully equipped with a projector and screen.

Workshops will be given using a projector or screen and notes supplied in PDF format, however to get the best out of the workshop it is recommended that you bring a laptop with Lightroom loaded on. If you do not have a copy of Lightroom, you can download it from Adobe.com with 1 months free trial.  To ensure there are enough of the right types of photos for the workshop, a memory stick with a selection of photos to work on will be provided.

Some details are given below and dates and more  Information can be gained by contacting me or visiting the Royal Photographic Society website where bookings can be directly.
